Caregivers Training Programs
We want to empower caregivers to take better care of their loved ones at home. In a way, we are also improving lives not just while they stay at Prayosha Adult Day Care, but also upon returning to their home environment.
Caregivers or family members may get fundamental caregiver training under the experts of senior and disability care at Prayosha Adult Day Care.
We invite you to visit our office to inquire about enrollment, fees and topics/skills training to be covered.
Educational Session for the Clients
A diagnosis of an illness may answer the question of why we are experiencing certain symptoms. However, after the diagnoses, more questions will arise like how does the patient cope with the illness? Is there anything the family can do to help? What therapies or care options are available?
At Prayosha Adult Day Care, we offer a session for health education and counseling that will address certain questions and help the patient (and family members) to better adapt to lifestyle changes often associated with illness or disability.
Upon request, our social workers can assist your family with concerns related to your health or your loved one’s health. Prayosha Adult Day Care offers:
- Assistance with Financial Aid Applications
- Supportive Case Work
- Advance Directives
- Alternative Living Arrangements
- Community Resource Planning
- Health Crisis Intervention
Apart from providing direct services to clients and patients, Prayosha Adult Day Care also conducts community service to benefit individuals with disabilities and their families. These non-profit efforts hope to shed light on disabilities, handicap benefits, preventive health and other health concerns.
